Principal

Job Description:

Adaptive Strategic is looking for a senior level delivery and business development resource with healthcare expertise globally.  Ideally, this person will also participate in various firm building activities (strategic accounts, marketing, talent, etc.) and contribute in a meaningful way with one or more internal initiatives. 

 As a Principal at ASP, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of core offerings across a broad selection of healthcare clients. Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Project management /program delivery:  Providing high-quality consulting services to manage and lead the design, delivery and ongoing value creation through strategy and digital offerings within client organizations.

  • Strategic account relationships: Ability to manage complex engagements and client expectations with a view towards building long-term client relationships.

  • Business development: Providing innovative solutions to support proposals with new and existing relationships in order to drive the growth of the firm.

  • Content development:  Enhancing ASP’s current methodologies (e.g., concepts, processes) and/or developing new approaches that unlock value for clients and raise the quality/productivity of the consulting team through recognized expertise.

  • Coaching and mentoring: Providing on-going coaching and mentoring of junior team members (e.g., informal, formal end-of-project reviews) to increase their client and technical skills.

Job Requirements & Desired Capabilities:

The Principal should have the following education and experience:

  • Industry expertise in one of our core segments of healthcare 

  • Advanced Degree (or equivalent) in a top institution

  • At least 10 years of experience, including work at senior levels in client organizations to plan, manage, design, deliver, and sell high-impact strategy and learning initiatives

  • Proven ability to succeed in a team-based and entrepreneurial environment

  • Deep knowledge and experience in the realm of strategy, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and talent solutions

  • Knowledge of the strategy field (e.g., key concepts, analytical frameworks, tools

  • Very strong problem solving and communication skills (writing and speaking)

  • Proven experience in client management, project management, and business development

Consultant

Job Description:

As a Consultant at ASP, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of client projects, business development, internal initiatives and marketing activities.  Your job responsibilities will include the following:

  • Assist with client projects: Creating reports and presentations, researching and analyzing markets, industries, performing competitive analysis

  • Support internal projects: Assisting with research, establishing thought leadership, and managing firm website.

  • Analyze data: Analyze large amounts of client data and formulate conclusions

Job Requirements & Desired Capabilities:

  • Economics or business background preferred but not required

  • Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Strong analytical skills (includes statistics, regression, inference, etc.)

  • Ability to succeed in a virtual team environment

  • Ability to build strong relationships across multiple client and company teams

  • Strong project management and problem-solving capabilities

  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools is a plus

  • Graphic design skills (Photoshop, MS Publisher, etc.) are a plus



Data Scientist

Job Description:

As a Data Scientist at ASP, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of data science projects, client projects, business development, internal initiatives and marketing activities.  Your job responsibilities will include the following:

  • Analyze data: Analyze large amounts of client data and formulate conclusions. Identify opportunities for data science to improve current products and practices for the business 

  • Apply machine learning: Use machine learning frameworks in both development, testing and production environments to create and deploy new technologies 

  • Assist with client projects: Creating reports and presentations, researching and analyzing markets, industries, performing competitive analysis

  • Support internal projects: Assisting with research, establishing thought leadership, and managing firm website.

Job Requirements & Desired Capabilities:

  • Statistics, business analytics, economics, or business background preferred but not required

  • Expertise with data analytics and data visualization tools (including but not limited to Python, SQL, and Tableau)

  • Familiarity with Machine learning and ability to create machine learning algorithms to optimize and deliver results

  • Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Strong analytical skills (includes statistics, regression, inference, etc.)
